MEET YOUR DEVELOPMENT DIRECTOR

Invested in Philanthropy

side story
Dan Hoffman, Senior Director of Development

We want to take a moment to introduce a new member of the UF Health Cancer Center team. Dan Hoffman is the new Senior Director of Development and will be supporting the center’s mission by helping with gathering philanthropic resources. He will be working directly with faculty, staff, individual alumni, friends and grateful patients. Dan will also collaborate across the UF Development Office to help facilitate a team approach in all areas connected to cancer.

Dan joined the Cancer Center Development team in late August after three years of fundraising work for UF Law. Prior to that, he worked in corporate sales and management in the health care sector and is also a Navy veteran.  He wants to stress how important the concept of “team” is to him and is willing to work alongside anyone interested in advancing the cause of the Cancer Center. He mentioned that in his initial meetings with faculty, he is already inspired by the research and the big goals of so many people.

By fostering philanthropic investment, UF Health Cancer Center Development supports the Cancer Center in its mission of advancing cancer research, education and patient care.

Should you have any questions regarding philanthropy at the Cancer Center or are aware of an individual interested in supporting your research, please don’t hesitate to call or email Dan. He would love to meet you.
